About

What we aim to be.

A nonprofit research and innovation organisation bringing together universities, industry, researchers and communities to explore emerging challenges, support learning and turn ideas into meaningful outcomes for society.

Current stage: Concept & collaboration design

Current status

Cralgo Foundation is a proposed nonprofit initiative being developed within the wider Cralgo ecosystem. Its legal structure, governance and registration are being evaluated. No donations are currently accepted through this site.

Registrations are not complete. Cralgo Foundation holds no charitable registration or tax approvals, and does not currently have a governing board, donors, partners or running programmes.

Mission and business

Why keep them separate?

Cralgo Innovations (OPC) Pvt Ltd is an existing commercial technology and research organisation. Commercial work has its own legitimate goals; public-benefit work needs different ones.

An emerging public-benefit initiative within the wider Cralgo ecosystem. Commercial activities remain with Cralgo Innovations; public-benefit activities will require independent governance, transparent funding and legally distinct arrangements.

Keeping the two apart protects the integrity of both: commercial clients know what they are paying for, and the public can trust that the Foundation's work is not a sales channel.

Governance intentions

Commitments we intend to make.

These are intentions, not yet formal commitments. They will be tested as the legal structure is evaluated.

  1. 01

    Independent governance

Before any funded activity, we intend to establish governance that is independent of Cralgo Innovations' commercial interests.

  2. 02

    Editorial and research independence

Research questions, methods and conclusions should never be steered by funders, contributors or commercial partners.

  3. 03

    Funding transparency

If funding is accepted in future, its sources and uses would be published openly.

  4. 04

    Legal separation

Public-benefit activities would sit in a legally distinct entity, with its own accounts and accountability.

Reporting

How we'll report progress.

A proposed cadence, not a promise. We would rather report less, honestly, than more, loosely.

  1. 01

    Programme pages

Each programme page will be updated as concepts move into design, pilot or review.

  2. 02

    Public learning notes

Short, plain-language notes on what we tried, what we observed and what we would change.

  3. 03

    Impact method

A published description of how outcomes will be assessed, written before results are reported.

Help shape what this becomes.

Cralgo Foundation is being designed in the open. If the questions here resonate, we would value your perspective.
